Lushzlumbera makes solid-wood furniture by hand, in small batches, for homes that want fewer, better things.
We missed furniture with a story
Most furniture today is built to look perfect in a photo and last until the next move. Veneer over particle board, identical grain printed on paper, hardware that loosens in a year.
Lushzlumbera started with the opposite idea. Take a solid board, let its grain and edges decide the shape, join it properly and finish it by hand. The result is a table or a shelf that feels warm to touch and gets better with age.
Less, but better
Respect the material
We use solid hardwood only, kiln-dried and chosen board by board. Knots and grain lines stay; they are why each piece is one of a kind.
Honour the craft
Joints are cut, fitted and sanded by hand. Every surface is finished in several thin coats and checked before it leaves the bench.
Make it last
We design for daily use and for the next generation: sturdy joinery, repairable parts and a one-year warranty on our work.
The board leads, we follow
We do not force wood into a shape it does not want. A curve follows the grain, a live edge stays where the tree grew, and proportions are tested at full size before anything goes into production.
- Material first. The wood sets the form, not a trend.
- Useful every day. Heights, depths and drawers are sized for real rooms.
- Never standardised. No two pieces share the same grain.

Organic curves
Edges are shaped and rounded by hand, so they feel soft under your palm.
Natural character
Knots and mineral lines are kept and stabilised, never filled with plastic.
Balanced proportions
Legs, tops and drawers are drawn to scale so each piece sits right in the room.
Hand-finished surfaces
Several thin coats of finish, sanded between each one, in a smooth or natural rough surface.
